This is a unique chance to share your experience, opinions, and concerns.
Your participation is crucial in helping us capture a comprehensive understanding of the current state of mental health in our community.
We encourage all Canadian music industry professionals to participate and share within their network.
The Unison Fund, Revelios, and SOCAN have partnered to launch a study to help better understand mental health challenges in the Canadian music industry.
This survey is the first of its kind in Canada, seeking to collect valuable input and better understand the experiences, attitudes, and opinions of those working in the music industry. The multiple-choice survey gathers information on demographics, mental health experiences, work environment, social factors, and other aspects that affect overall well-being.
The survey is completely anonymous. A third-party software, Qualtrics, is being used to house and capture data. Access is monitored and audited for compliance. Qualtrics uses Transport Layer Security (TLS) encryption to transmit data. No identifying information will be visible to any party.
There is a separate, voluntary option at the end of the survey for participants to submit their email ONLY if they’re interested in being contacted for follow-up focus groups and future research. That email submission is not associated to their survey answers.
The survey is the first step of research, and we aim to leverage insights to achieve several positive outcomes, including improved mental health literacy, enhanced promotion of well-being, and a cultural shift toward destigmatizing mental health.
This initiative is a collaboration between The Unison Fund, SOCAN, and Revelios, each bringing strengths to ensure the study’s success and impact. Again, your information will remain completely anonymous. The survey is solely for research purposes, and no data will be shared with or visible to any participating organizations.
